Fenethylline (INN, SAN), also known as amphetamine and methamphetamine, is a chemical compound of amphetamine and theophylline that acts as a prodrug in both preparations. Available as a psychostimulant under the trade name Captagon (Captagon), BioCotton (Biocapton) and Fitton (Fitton). Chemical formula (C18H23N5O2).

The drug is available in the form of white tablets, which can be swallowed or dissolved in a drink or water. And can also be used as an injection or inhalation through the nose.
The outward signs of receiving the Captagon:
severe psychomotor agitation, euphoria, anorexia, dilated pupils, high blood pressure, accelerated breathing, increased urination. Stimulant psychosis is one of the possible side effects of Captagon. Psychotic symptoms: delusions, hallucinations, feelings of persecution, hyperactivity and panic.
Consequences of the use of Captagon:
the use of drugs, as well as other means of amphetamines can lead to dysfunction of the cardiovascular system — cardiac arrhythmias and coronary pain. Overdose of the Captagon can cause a sharp drop in blood pressure and collapse. Stimulant or amphetamine psychosis is one of the most dangerous complications of drug use.
Captagon-induced psychosis may manifest in form of hallucinations and sensory paresthesia (acute form) or auditory hallucinations and delusions of persecution (chronic).
Long-term use of Captagon causes severe mental dependence.

penicillin was first synthesized by the German company Degussa AG (now Evonik Industries) in 1961 and was used for about 25 years as a lightweight alternative to amphetamine and similar drugs. It has also been used to treat ADHD in children (now known as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) and, much less frequently, for narcolepsy and depression. One of the main advantages of phenethylamine was that it does not raise blood pressure to levels such as amphetamine, so it can be used in patients with cardiovascular disease.
In 1981 Fretilin included in the list of sensitive and controlled substances in the United States.
In 1986, the drug was listed by who in the Convention against illicit traffic in narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.
In the two thousandth the drug was actively used during the organization of color revolutions. For the first time, the kaptagon was used in Cairo as an elixir of prolongation and tightening of the revolution, giving rage to the crowd, ready to sacrifice themselves. Then it spread throughout the Middle East from Tunisia to Egypt, from Libya to Syria.
As the drug is actively used in the Maidan revolutions in Ukraine. Now it is applied at carrying out anti-terrorist operation.
Today, the kaptagon turns the fanaticism of ISIS militants into animal ferocity. These tablets, now produced in the territories controlled by ISIS, have become a real fuel for war and terror.
