The drug's addiction

What is the narcotic (or drugs) addiction? Clearly, that it's chronic illness from narcotics' using (from greek word "narkotikos" means "numbness") that are the group of different chemical or organic nature that have stimulating, oppress or hallucinogenic effect to central nervous system and excessive use of some can make the harm to the body. The dictionary of foreign words explains the meaning of these concepts that come to our language from Greek. "Narco" translates as numbness, sleep. The person in the condition of numbness can't evince self- will, his condition like he's tied. "Mania" means "craziness, passion, addiction". This is the second element of complicated words, that means the strong addiction, morbid impulse of the first element of the word. "Narcotic" translates as benumbing, dopey. According, narcotic or drug addict is the person that is tied, dopey and feeling the addiction to drugs, moreover, the life shows he is not only feels, he also makes every efforts for support of this condition.

The scientists learn the phenomenon of the narcotic addiction and for the last 20 years they have made many experiments and discoveries. The narcotic addiction is known for a long time but only a few people know its development and what elements are the reasons of its development. What for should the people know about the narcotic addiction? As the practice shows, it's impossible to treat the narcotic addiction and navigate its prophylaxis without knowing the elements of the narcotic addiction's development.

The different drugs have different influence to the human body and entail different addiction. Some drugs entail psychological addiction, but don't entail physical addiction. Others entail strong physical addiction. Many drugs entail physical and psychological addiction. According to the information of the United Nations, the most widely used narcotic as cannabis (almost 150 millions of users), then follows stimulant amphetamines (approximately 30 millions , most of all methamphetamine and amphetamine and 8 millions of ecstasy), a little more than 13 million people use the cocaine and 15 millions use opiates (heroin, morphine, opium, synthetic opiates), including approximately 10 million use heroin. The Desomorphine is on the second place by popularity after heroin in the Russia. It explains by Desomorphine's cheapness of production and availability of drugs of its production. The narcotics have the effect named tolerance that means the progressive decreasing of enjoyment's intensity from its using. That's why the patient with drug dependence increases the dose of narcotics to save the enjoyment.

There are two types of people that are addicted from drugs:

The people who have the positive addiction - they seek for pleasure, fun, rush, euphoria, energy etc. and they use for this purpose the psychoactive drugs.

The people who have the negative addiction - they use the psychoactive drugs to make away with depression, unpleasant feelings, difficulties in communication etc. The psychoactive can solve this problems and people after its using feel that everything is better and that's the reason why many people don't want to treat the drugs addiction.

What is the process of the drug's addiction development? The brain has the special area that is answered for motivation and emotional condition of the person and it's called the system of reinforcement. The scientists made the experiment: they entered in this area to the rats the electrodes and then put in the cage the pedal for rats that after its pressing passed the light current in this area and this area was stimulated. The rat pushed the pedal and felt pleasure and sooner it pushed the pedal without stopping until physical attenuation and death. The drugs addictive people act in the same way, they stimulate the area of reinforcement notbyelectrodesandcurrent but by drug, in other words, by chemical way. The stimulation of the area of reinforcement leads to the drug's addiction . What are the chemical processes that leads to the development of the drug's addiction? The using of the drugs leads to the chemical impact to the area of reinforcement by neurotransmitters videlicet by the dopamine. The normal transmission of the nerve impulse in the area of reinforcement leads to the production of the particular quantity of the neurotransmitters that call the particular level of the excitation. The using of the drug leads to the huge production of the neurotransmitters that call more strong excitation of the system of reinforcement and as a result more pleasure. However, there is the reverse of the coin: the drug leads to the huge quantity of the neurotransmitters than it's possible in the normal situation and it's the reason of the progressive depletion of its supplies. When the person use the drug they don't have enough of these transmitters (because of depletion of its supplies) and it doesn't lead to the excitation of the system of reinforcement and it is expressed in the depression, loosing of energy, bad mood etc. That's why the drug's addictive person needs the drug all the time to be in the good mood and it leads to the more depletion of the neurotransmitters' supplies. That's why they are acerbated, gloomy, depressive, infirm physically and emotionally without drug's intoxication. The only way to be in the good mood for them is to use the regular dose of the narcotic.

It's very important to know that the actions of the other people have the large influence to the person who tries to overcome the drug's addiction. The healed addict if he enters to the company of drinking alcohol or drug's using people can become addictive again. The experts thinks that the inclination to the drugs can be detected before the person becomes addicted. Usually people becomes addictive from the drugs because of the influence of the surrounding people, out of curiosity, that's cultivated by the "misfortune friends". It's necessary to be attentive because it's possible to see the external symptoms of the new drug's addictive people that can't control its appearance.
